Who we are

Mower Mentor (referred to as “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) runs the website at mowermentor.com (the “Service”). Mower Mentor is based in India. “You” means anyone who visits or uses the Service, or the company or organization on whose behalf they use it.

Accepting these terms

By visiting or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Minimum age

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you’re under 18, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian. The Service isn’t directed at children under 13.

Mower repair and power equipment

Our guides are general information, written and reviewed with care, but they can’t cover every situation. Products, prices and policies change, and we can make mistakes. Check important details with the manufacturer, retailer or provider before you rely on them, and tell us through our corrections process if something looks wrong.

Mowers and other power equipment can cause serious injury. Before any repair, turn the engine off, let it cool, disconnect the spark plug wire or remove the battery, and follow the manufacturer’s manual. Take care with fuel, blades and batteries. Repairs can affect your warranty. If you’re not sure you can do a job safely, use a qualified technician. You’re responsible for work you do on your equipment.

Brand and product names belong to their owners. Mower Mentor isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer, retailer or provider unless we say so.

Comments and content you send us

You keep ownership of the comments, messages and other content you send us. By posting a comment, you give the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, display, store and moderate it on the Service, including shortening it or fixing obvious typos without changing its meaning. You can ask us to remove your comment at any time through our contact page.

When you post a comment, you confirm that it’s your own, that it’s accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that it doesn’t break any law or anyone else’s rights. Please don’t post other people’s personal information, spam, advertising or links you’re paid to share. We review comments before they appear and may decline, edit or remove any comment.

Our content

The guides, images, tools and design of the Service belong to the Company or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may read, share links to and print our guides for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish or sell our content, or use it to train software or other services, without our written permission.

Links to other websites

The Service links to websites we don’t own or control. We aren’t responsible for their content, products, privacy practices or terms. Please read the terms and privacy policy of any website you visit.

Suspending access

We may remove content, or block or suspend your access to the Service or its comments, at any time and without notice if you break these terms or we need to protect the Service, our readers or others.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we don’t promise that the Service or its content will be accurate, complete, up to date, uninterrupted or free of errors or harmful code, and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

The Service is free to use. To the fullest extent the law allows, the Company isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of data, profit or business, or personal injury or damage to property caused by how you use our guides. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service is limited to 100 US dollars.

Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the “Disputes resolution” section, the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction. If you use the Service as a consumer, this does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

Disputes resolution

If you have a concern or dispute about the Service, please contact us first through our contact page and give us a chance to resolve it informally. If we can’t resolve it within 60 days, either of us may take it to the courts of India.

For EU, EEA and UK users

If you’re a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you’ll benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer under that law.

You confirm that you’re not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you’re not on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Severability and waiver

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, it will be changed only as much as needed to make it enforceable, and the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a right under these terms, that doesn’t mean we’ve given it up.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice on this page before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you don’t agree, please stop using the Service.
