He is writing about tools, small engines, and outdoor power equipment for two decades, with previous bylines covering home workshops, DIY repair, and product reviews. His job at Mower Mentor is to set the editorial brief - what gets covered, how it gets tested, and what the trust standards are - and to write the year-end decision-aid pieces. He answers the corrections inbox personally. Wade grew up in a household where you fixed the mower rather than replaced it, and that bias toward repair-over-replace runs through the whole site's editorial position. He lives in the rural US Midwest, where he keeps an aging gas walk-behind and a newer battery mower running side by side specifically so he stays honest about how both actually hold up.
